    Default sinn fein policies

why is it that nearly every thread here is about a united ireland or related the 6 counties? do members of other parties realise that Sinn Féin have good policies related to all other areas too, the economy, social issues, eu issues etc etc. it annoys me that the media in general only seem to want to talk to sf about certain issues when they have such good ideas and articulate politicians to explain them.

you obviously are out of touch. have you ever looked at the issues section of the SF website? i can tell you that all these things are what SF activists are working on from day to day. i don't deny that national unification is the no 1 policy and that is a good thing but sf are about other things too you know.

Sinn Fein claim to be socialists. One of their leaders welcomed george bush to the north and the party supported the bank bail out. James connolly would vomit with embarressment at these bunch of jokers claiming his legacy. If SF couldn't make huge gains in these times, the question must be asked, when will they ever? They are economically illiterate, incompetent, and completely oppertunistic.

Aye - they would have better chance of influencing him and the country he represents if they were ignorant to him
"You Popish rogue" 'ní leomhaid a labhairt sinn
acht "Cromwellian dog" is focal faire againn
nó "cia súd thall" go eann gan eagla
"Mise Tadhg" géadh teinn an t-agallamh

Bodaigh an Cháise táid go hatuireach
ag filleadh ar a gcéird gach spéice smeartha aca
gan ghunna, gan chloidheamh gan pinnse chleachtadar
d'imthigh a mbrígh is tá an cridhe dá ghreada aca.

Are you serious, you surely are having a laugh? You think the US gives a toss about what sinn fein, fianna fail or any irish party thinks? You are bonkers.

George Bush is an imperialist and ran the country at the head of world capitalism, you would think sinn fein who claim to be socialist and anti-imperialist[the core reason they exist] would tell him where to go. But no, marty had other ideas. Such hypocrisy is mindblowing and your comment is so naive its ridiculous, Bush being influenced by Sinn fein, you could laugh or cry. Also the party leaders visit to wallstreet, somehow I cant imagine connolly championing such behaviour, but who cares we'll just whore his name anyways. Sinn fein are oppertunistic amateurs and are a disgrace to republican socialism.

In the last GE every SF policy was "to create an Ireland of equals". While that sounds very nice there were virtually no specificsbeyond things like Healthcare & Education for all. SF realise they don't need to cost policies as will oikely never try to implement.

Their main new policy is to replace all those old nasty IRA men with new pretty young people to appease the more 'respectable' class of people. But that didnt work im afraid. SDLP for slow learners:-D
