Default End Cradle to Grave benefits for Losers?

End Cradle to Grave benefits for Losers?

How can the Irish Taxpayer continue to support a growing number of able mind and bodied people who only take and never give?

the finances are becoming unworkable (no pun intended)

    what say you?

    The ironic thing is it's now becoming simple math;

Income being less than expenditure = very bad prob

It's doubly ironic that only for now being in the situation that we are in "the Irish Taxpayer continue to support a growing number of able mind and bodied people who only take and never give?" would have continued forever .... now it cannot

Why just for losers, why not everyone?

It's pretty much an economic law that when productive activity is punished, and unproductive activity is rewarded, more people will choose to join the ranks of non-producers.

the morality of it a side. what practicle benifits exist for the state by maintaining the welfare state. bismark kicked of the trend as a way of undermining the left. the common idea at the time that if the working class in there totality recognised there combined strength then they could change the situation where they are continuesly subjected to poverty ushering in a new era of socialism etc etc etc. we are living in the most educated irish generation ever, push, them, go on. take there safety net away. it's game on then.

Would it be workable if they introduced food stamps for long time welfare cheats that were only redeemable in grocery shops, and non transferable? So they couldn't be used for booze and fags? I wouldn't be in favor of abolishing their dole altogether, just make it so unpleasant for them that they would see real employment as the only real alternative. Same with asylum seekers, cut out the cash into hand.

If you will gladly pay them, there is no need to force you to pay them...

1/ if your medically unfit, claim away

(Most Spongers will feign back injuries)

2/ if you lose your job, you get six months in cash claims, followed by a limited time of food vouchers non transferable

(If you can't find work after your "limited time" do you let them starve ?

3/ school leavers, limited time food vouchers

    (Naked School Leavers !!!!)

4/ single mothers, food vouchers and clothing

    (Tesco's will be delighted !!)

    5/ immigrants food vouchers

    (Naked Immigrants)

Generally we need to take a far tougher stance!
Have you ever had to survive on the Dole ? How would they pay for Electricity and Gas, or is that unimportant ?
