Default High Court makes €4.6m judgment against former Fianna Fail Councillor

The High Court has made a judgment against former Fianna Fail Councillor Gerard Killally and former Offaly football manager Richard Connor for €4.6m.
It follows an action taken by National Irish Bank which, the court heard, is owed that amount by the two men.
Neither of the men were in court today, but the court was informed that they would not be defending the action.
Mr Connor has already admitted making secret profits from land deals in Offaly.
His co-accused, Mr Killaly, claimed he did not disclose the profits to his partners because he was legally advised there was no obligation to do so.

Killally is trying to put his solicitor in the frame for "incorrect" legal advice but she is defending herself rigourously, seems kind strange Connor is not taking part in this action, guess the guys are no longer on good terms.

Biffo must be cringing every time Killally's name comes up, his former running mate crapping all over him.

Nah, this is standard in FF at this stage, he's well used to it. Sure he did not even blink when ahern was spinning his fairytales the tribunal.

So what will Killally do? Does he have no choice but to file for bankruptcy? I doubt he can sell his house and even if he did he wouldn't get what he'd want for it.

Or will he be driving around in a 2010 reg Audi sports next year, seemingly unaffected by this?

He has friends in the right places. The effect will be minimal

Cannot believe that a former FF councilor would be capable of such a thing

He has shut down the auctioneering (conning) business, another poster on here put up a pic of the ranch and advised it is sinking into the bog it was built on.

Given how he has treated some investors in the locale you would have to say it is bankruptcy, unless he has family with very deep pockets.

His own bills for legal representation must be substantial and there are probably a few more lawsuits lining up, doubt if Biffo is going to be giving legal advice, more like fup off and stay fupped off.

Next year it will probably be a Celtic donkey n cart, he can look at pics of Audi sport jobs on the internet.
