Virgin Blue keen to offer free flights
For the past number of years Ryanair have been giving away free flights, something that has clearly boosted tourism in Ireland and provided much needed revenue for the country. Then last December, the idiot that is Minister for Finance, Brian "Gombeen" Lenihan decided we need to reduce tourism, who'd want more tourists coming to Ireland and spending thousands of Euro's in our hotels, shops and pubs in the middle of a recession? So he started hitting everybody with a Ä10 tax for going through an Irish Airport. Result being that Ryanair have had to ditch their free flight give aways and now we all suffer as a result. Not only that but they have plans to make hundreds redundant in Ireland because passenger numbers are down. Thank you to all you FF idiots for once again making a bad situation much worse.
