    Default Harmonisation North & South???

Sinn Féin: Sinn Féin calls for all-island VAT harmonisation

Is it time now to consider this and could it be done?

    We buy their booze!

    They buy our petrol!!

If we were to harmonise VAT, would we then harmonise our corporate taxes etc?

Could it progress to personal tax rates etc?

Perhaps it is time to consider this.It might be a step to far for the unionists et al to swallow though. We are however one island and there would be advantages and disadvantages on both sides but it would level the playing pitch once and for all.
( I favour their VAT rate by the way!!!!)
When a man sits with a pretty girl for an hour, it seems like a minute. But let him sit on a hot stove for a minute and it's longer than any hour. That's relativity.

Through the power of wishful thinking I suspect, but I thought I would put it out there for discussion!
