    Default Jean Charles de Menezes

The cause of Jean Charles de Menezes goes on unabated.

There is an ongoing investigation into how this young innocent Brazillian was murdered on a Tube in London.
Whilst there is no doubt that the Muslim terror attacks did cause some jitters, several investigations have shown that Jean Charles was given no chance...even though there was absolutely no evidence to show he was a terrorist or a carrier of deadly weapons.

Help Jean Charles' family to secure justice for their son and brother; and finally bring a much needed peacful closure to them.

Meriwether has a different take on that.

All the excuses made, by the police, have been found to be fabricated and deliberate concealment of the facts leading to the murder of Jean Charles.

No, it was definitely the police. Seeing as it was the police who were prosecuted and found guilty.

Met Police were prosecuted but that was a sham as nobody going to jail.

The idea that Army etc couldn't act as police was well and truely blown during miners strike when squaddies were in blue,

Are you suggesting that the named police officers in charge of the operation that day were in fact undercover soldiers their entire careers?! What are you trying to suggest?

No one's gone to jail...not yet; but the persistence of the supporters, of the Jean Charles cause for justice, has brought about progress.
There have been leaks, from the ongoing investigation, that those who fired the shots that murdered Jean Charles could be facing prosecution for murder.
The source of the leaks also say that Commissioner Blair may have to resign or be sacked.

It was this very man who gloated at a Press Conference telling how he got his man and how good his men were.

The guy hasn't had the grace to admit he got it wrong or to apologise to Jean Charles' family for this grave injustice....killing an innocent person because 'he looked like a Middle Eastern terrorist' ....and then rolled out a lot of excuses, now proven to be lies.

There's no doubt that the cops were jittery after the Muslim bombings in London; but, they followed Jean Charles for ages, got him in the Tube, and shot him SEVEN times in the head......all because they 'thought' he looked like a terrorist!!

It is with the support of fair minded people, from all over the world, that the family of Jean Charles will get the justice they fully deserve.

Er, what ongoing investigation? The CPS recommended no charges and this was appealed to the High Court and thrown out and so far not overturned. Surely there is no investigation? (Though I personally feel that manslaughter charges would be warranted even if it's really, really difficult to see a jury convicting.)
