Default Highest Interpol alert for Irish Muslim Al-Qadea leader

According to tomorrow's SBP Interpol have issued their highest 'red notice' alert against an Irish passport holder. He is a South Dublin Muslim businessman and 'charity fundraiser' Ibrahim Buisir. Libyan born Buisir is wanted for extradition by Libya. He is described as a leader and funder of a European Al-Qaeda cell and as prominent in the Irish Islamic Foundation.

    Why doesn't this surprise me
If you continue to elect idiots in elections, don't be surprised when the result is an idiotic government.

Any indication as to how long Buisir has been operating out of Ireland? I assume he must be here a while if he is an Irish passport holder.

What was he 'operating'? Has he been charged and found guilty of any wrong doing?
If he has an Irish passport he is an Irish citizen.

I take it you missed the bit in the OP where it said, "He is described as a leader and funder of a European Al-Qaeda cell and as prominent in the Irish Islamic Foundation."

So, he has been 'operating' out of Ireland. Whether these operations have been legal or illegal has still to be decided. Either way, they can still be described as 'operations'.

I'd like to innocently suggest that the 'operations' referred to are his business and charity fundraising efforts. Somehow I doubt that's what was meant, though.

    On what basis?

What evidence is there that he has been doing anything illegal and that these claims are true?

    Is he an Irish Citizen?

If he is guilty then he should be deported and his citizenship (if he has it) revoked.
