Well you are a socialist so I expected stupidity. Preferring a thuggish one party state where the rule of law is what you can afford, critics of the government are silenced or killed and human rights are ridden rough shod over to an advanced industrialised free market democracy is par for the course for a socialist.

All out of step except you, eh...............?

Perhaps it is because the rest of humanity knows that goose-stepping isn't 'fashionable' any more.

You may disagree with my belief that when the government forces us to pay money to the state that that money should be spent on us and not on Africa but how does my belief make me thick and unfair ?

Not all, just a substantial majority. Most people will say we should spend more on health, they say this because they want better service and aren’t mentally at a level where they can distinguish the two .

"Invest in the health service" in ireland means squander more taxpayer resources on enriching vested interest groups with no improvement in services for patients.

'I'm going to squander even more taxpayers money" well done Leo/Simon, super job maybe just wipe your ass with it, that would be as useful as giving the HSE more money!

"As Taoiseach i feel hiring yet more HSE managers on 6 figure salaries is the most effective way of increasing health spend"

    Go away Leo.

As already posted we are ranked 24th in europe in health yet our health spend is above the OECD average. We spend more then enough.

“Spending more money” and “getting a better service” . Anyway that’s for another thread so apologies for derailing.
