None. I haven't made any such claim. I quoted what the newspapers reported. Nothing more, and nothing less.

Scappaticci has always strongly denied claims that he was 'Stakeknife', a high-ranking military mole in the IRA's internal security unit that interrogated and murdered suspected spies during The Troubles.

Freddie Scappaticci, the man widely named as the British army's IRA informer 'Stakeknife', has pleaded guilty to two charges of possessing extreme pornographic images. - https://www.rte.ie/news/courts/2018/...e-scappaticci/

Good for him. It seems I got that part wrong. He's also pleaded guilty to possession of beastiality porn, and at the same time, he has pleaded innocence. I don't believe he's nuts, and I don't believe that anyone of sound mind would do such a thing, if they believed they were innocent. I think his response was appalling, as was the good character reference he received from the magistrate, who, unless they've been living in a parallel universe to the rest of us, made those comments, knowing full well exactly what he's suspected of being involved in, and the role he's suspected of playing in it. You're obviously more clued into their way of life than I am, recognize and identify with their moral code of conduct and share their value systems, which are self-evidently alien to me, and which I suppose in my book, puts you and them on an equal footing with each other.

It's hard for ordinary people to know what's going on in reality, some have it that Adams, McGuinness (and therefore the IRA and SF) were being run by the brits all along, if that were even partially true it would have huge implications.

IRA have been riddled with informers down through the years. Remember reading about some sisters who were working for the Brits shortly after the provos were set up. Read it a long time ago, can't remember details, but there was some connection with Amsterdam.

    You can't argue with that.

    Let's start with Dresden.
25,000 people dead in two short days.
