Default More Death Threats to Irish International Soccer Star James McClean. (Second Thread)

Poppy row: Death threats to James McClean probed | An Phoblacht

It comes as no surprise that the suspect is a former British soldier, but this time the authorites know who it is and an arrest should be imminent.

The 'lad' as you call him should be under lock and key.

Seems Northern Irish Catholic sport stars need protection from these vile bigots.

Disgusting. Hopefully an example will be set. Giving respect is a personal choice and should not be demanded or expected.

James has endured a lot of harassment and criticism because of his choice to play international soccer for his country. However, this latest death threat is beyond the usual drivel expected from unionists, considering the source this is very serious and should be treated as such.

For unionism this is as good as it gets, for nationalism this is the worse it can be.

It is worth noting that despite donning himself in unionist paramilitary regalia, Rory McIlroy has not recieved threats nor has he endured harassment of any kind.
