Default Brexit the DUP and the Irish border

Forget cherry picking and security — focus on fixing Irish border, EU tells May

I honestly do not care how mad the UK get on the issue of the EU just that they keep it to the British Island. This conservative government is "bag of fighting cats" and have not a single good idea on how the Irish border question.

The DUP now need to explain what their plan is for the Irish border. They are the ones who are keeping the conservatives in power. It is their responsibility to make sure the economy of Northern Ireland does not suffer at the hands of this Conservative Brexit.

The DUP are against this outcome yet do not have any alternative to suggest.

The whole Brexit shambles was always all about civil war in the British Tory party.
The DUP will be thrown under the Brexit bus at the appropriate time, better still, they know it.
Ironically the DUP are rabid Brexiteers.

I think the EU will allow a border in Ireland. Fine Gael will do nothing. They will accept it. Time will tell who is right or who is wrong. I am betting the EU and British will look at FG and Varadker and will think he is a weak man.

Don't worry, they're going to build a bridge between NI and Scotland. That'll keep the Union safe.

UK Parliament itself, just passed a bill into law that explicitly prohibits a hard border in ireland, according to T.D. Richard Boyd Barrett on RTE today.

Caroline Nokes UK Minister, said 3 weeks ago that checks will be in the ports, not along the partition line, in an answer to questions about the new border guards being recruited in the 6 counties - making the de-facto border in the Irish Sea.

Ha, the d1ckheafs would probably be looking to march on it whilst ludicrously proclaiming it was their traditional route

They really are on another planet if they are serious about this nonsense....
