Default The repercussions of the second year of the Trump presidency

I believe that it's time for a new thread about the repercussions of the Trump presidency.

The thread titled "The Immediate Repercussions of President Donald J. Trump" has served it's purpose, but we are closing in on the end of Trump's first year in office, so I think a new thread is called for.

The repercussions that were "immediate" in November 2016 aren't "immediate" any longer.

    It does make me happy.

I don't think what is happening now counts as an immediate repercussion. Do you?

The original thread was started just after he was elected. He hadn't even taken office.

Trump unloads on former top aide Bannon - CNNPolitics

    "Washington (CNN)

President Donald Trump excoriated his former chief strategist Steve Bannon in a statement Wednesday, claiming that Bannon "lost his mind" after being pushed out from the White House.

The White House released the 266-word statement from the President slamming Bannon after excerpts from a new book quoted Bannon as calling the meeting with a Russian lawyer the President's eldest son attended in the summer 2016 at Trump Tower alongside Jared Kushner and former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort "treasonous." "

Perhaps Bannon will be called to explain to various investigations this reported claim that members of the Trump staff were committing treason.

It's odd though that Bannon was then OK with being part of an administration that included people who had committed treason.

If Kim and Bannon are both insane. And he’s gone toe to toe with both.
What is the threshold for mental capacity for the Presidency?
Or physical health, given the repeated concerns about dementia (the lashing out, losing train of thought, forgetting his wife was beside him when he apologised to a crowd for her absence, using vocabulary of an 11 year old).

    FFS, another one next year?

Why not just one called "President Trump"?

PS Of course, there may not be a next year.
