So the final week for the Vingina monologues? Wonder what special topics he will have on for the shows and will Enda Kenny, Drummed and that Greek chap finally turn up?

    So the lead topics are:
    Travellers.
    Equality.
    Gender stuff.
    Immigration.
(Maybe even some politics and current affairs.)
    Regards...jmcc

So any idea who's taking over from Vinnie then, after he hosts his final show.

Say what we like about Vinnie - we'll miss him One of the few outstanding journalists of the last 40 years ( most of the rest of them are just hired liars to a man and woman), as editor of the current affairs magazine Magill he took on the establishment like no one else with reporters such as Gene Kerrigan etc.

Follow the money in this country and it ALWAYS goes back to state support, be it tax breaks, state contracts or the state manipulation of certain markets etc. Free market my eye.

You need to put equality in that list at least 6 more times...

    Dobbo is on the move!

"RTÉ's Bryan Dobson is reportedly leaving the Six One news, writes Ciara Phelan.
Dobson, affectionately known as Dobbo will make an internal move to Morning Ireland as RTÉ are said to be in the process of a major 'shake-up' within the evening news.
Dobson who is currently an adjunctive professor at the University of Limerick has been presenting the Six One News since 1996." [Examiner]

Well, believe it or not, it appears from the tv3 schedules that Vinny himself is taking over. Next Monday ... it's

Another 7 days of not watching Vincent Brown.?

I will be little sad though when its gone because I used to really really love not watching that programme.

I assume that, allowing for the usual 3 long ad breaks, this "special" will run for about 15 minutes. Big question is: how often will Rita appear?
