Interesting prize winners, considering some of the recent decision in DLrcoco re the development plan, its interesting to note that FG have being slow to back the residents in South Dublin in objecting to overdevelopment by T Holdings and Sorahans..............

Ah c'mon... given the usual stick that FF get as the builders' and publicans' party, I sure found it amusing to read about from what quarters FG get some of their support.

They should have had the good sense to play badly, not win and avoid the publicity!

It's a fact of life that political parties need money to operate. Some get help from trade unions or nostalgic Americans, others hold fund-raising events.

For these big corporate events, the companies will enter teams irrespective of which side of the house is hosting the event. It's just a fact of life.

It is the George Lee wise up , go into FG politics with a conscience to fix it , get the fook out as soon as you realise how it works and just accept the alternative would be nutters like SF and Labour inviting the 3rd world in to sit on the dole for generations and compulsory tranny toilets in primary schools.

Fine Gael morphed into Fianna Fáil

    There's no meaningful distinction now

To an extent, Garret the Good authorizing "all means necessary" to stop FF, was the start of the rot

After their beauty show for the phone license...they could have stopped...but they went all in...and went for Enda Kenny as leader

It is now at the stage, where Fine Gael have surpassed Bertie's FF for sure ...give them time...and they'll be the worst party of government bar Dev
