Default Trouble ahead for Mr Cameron on Europe?

    Tomorrows Sunday Telegraph headline reads.
    Tories in Europe Turmoil

    http://t.co/sLLxHSDUJX

And in the Sunday Times across the water.
Civil war erupts over Europe vote.

    http://t.co/EeRKfbn5vR

The Telegraph reports that ministers are told by David Cameron to abstain from key vote, while conservative backbenchers are becoming more unease at no mention of europe in the Queens speech.

Could we have a rebellion on our hands?

Some months ago, there was talk of an up and coming potential new leader of the Tories, a black guy by the name of Adam Afriyie. Last week he had a few choice words after a poor showing by the Tories in the English local elections and the rise of UKIP.
'It's time for Cameron to stop pussyfooting around': PM rival Adam Afriyie calls for two per cent tax on immigrants and mass deportation in incendiary manifesto.

I hope the Tories tear themselves apart over Europe.

I think they will. Next British GE, I see the Tory threat not as how many seats UKIP could win but how many seats that the Tories could lose to the rise of UKIP with a fragmented conservative vote. Incidentally I see the Brits overall as a bigger threat to EU compared to the Greeks,Cypriots or Spanish. The Tory party could very well tear its self apart in the coming years.

What UKIP don't realise is that its better for the UK to be in the EU undermining it rather than being an outsider and having no say over its future direction. A united European continent is a disaster for the US-aligned English isle.

However they (the Conservatives) obviously cant mention this realpolitik in public, hence the growing support for UKIP.
