Default The Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis live

Just switched on now. Paul Williams (journalist for The Sun) is currently on stage as part of a panel talking about crime. Some gombeen from the audience is now ranting about law and order and sentences being too short. He wants sentences 3 times longer. He's obviously been at the brandy.

Paul Williams (journalist for the paper with page 3) says Ming Flanagan and Mick Wallace undermine our democracy.

He said "The sentences should be three times longer than they should be". That just does not make sense. "Three times longer than they are" he meant to say, me thinks. Iv'e switched it off.

Heard that, awful attack on Ming & Wallace. Also go at Conor Brady about putting manners on gardai. Of course i think Williams has garda protection & gets inside stories from garda. Was he not also on list for penalty points scrappage ?

Michael McGrath (the man with the big ginger head) now opens Finance workshop. He says Fianna Fáil are now credible again on financial issues and have real solutions.

St Lenny's sidekick. Probably doesn't know what the word "credibility" means.

A big vote coming up this afternoon on whether or not to change the party slogan to "We have some neck."
