Default PWC to run the country

Is there any point in electing politicians to run the country when all they seem to do is hire PWC to produce lengthy reports on how best to do it?

How much does the govt spend every year hiring PWC to produce reports on various aspects of government? Are the civil servants who are paid to run the country incapable of producing a report in respect of the Dept's they run?

The object is to inject private sector work practices into the public sector.

Would these be the same private sector practices that have destroyed the banks and insurance companies that were audited by the same bunch of experts?

I remember PwC "running" the validation phase on the .eu ccTLD. So that would be a 'no'.

We seem to be plagued by well paid experts who like the pope can never be wrong, they just swap seats and charge to audit one anothers mistakes. They probably project managed the fiasco of putting a national childrens hospital in the Mater.

PwC Implicated in Barclays Libor Scandal | Big4.com

These are the sort of rogues that are being paid kings ransoms to produce volumes of waffle by various governments in this state.

I note RTE are even advertising their report by PWC. It must painting them in a flattering light.
