Default Snorter of a Liveline: Ben Dunne chatting to Joe (12 April 2013)

Ben Dunne has come up with an idea to end the mortgage crisis.

Apparently he came up with the idea at midday today, yet he has access to the airways, within 2 hours.

Dunne thinks people in mortgage trouble should leave the country and go bankrupt

    That's his idea.

MOD EDIT: You can listen to a recording of the show being discussed here.

"The only way you deal with banks is from a position of strength. You go to your bank and say this is what our plan is, Mr Bank Manager; do me a deal or I am leaving the country"

    Or something like that.

I've an idea. Maybe Ben could fund a 200k extension on my house; I could then sell the house and wipe out all my negative equity

Maybe Michael Lowry should be made Minister for Finance.
    Don't snort at it.

Simple but brilliant. I can see the queues forming already.
