Neve mind that. We are making loads of money in Dublin buying and selling houses and apartments to each other, again.

Let's all celebrate another housing mania.
Coveney's ambition is the be Ireland's next EU Commissar and Ireland will pay a price as he builds his CV to position himself sufficiently loyal to the nEU empire.

    We're bouncing around the bottom...

We should expect to be slipping in and out of growth etc...

11 months of growth ain't a bad record tbh...

This crash thing that happened back in 2008 was far worse than anyone dared admit... It's gonna take decades to get out of it and when we finally do we shouldn't be aiming to be back where we were in the midst of the madness...

Ireland needs to rethink itself... just like Cyprus and the rest...

As for new cars... who cares? It's not an industry that supports much in this country... apart from the dealerships... People buying brand new cars every year was the abnormality...

It's a bit of a petty thread this... imo...

If it becomes a trend then there'll be reason to have a good auld moan...

The papers, politicans and commentators can all keep saying we're in recovery, but until the Irish mammy has a little left over weekly, then monthly out of the house hold budget , recovery won't be felt by Mr and Mrs average.
