    Default #VINB Wed 27/3/2013: Lotto’s changing ethos

    John McGuirk, ”Monaghan Machiavelli“ https://twitter.com/john_mcguirk

There’s some show lined up for tonight! With three talking heads on the panel who love the sound of their own voice and have an opinion about everything, and probably not one fact between the three of them this is going to take all of Vinny’s skills to keep the discussion on an even keel. What are they going to be yacking about? Well the topic is:
    * Is changing the ethos of lottery from one of public interest to a for-profit model a good idea?
    * Is the Lotto a tax on the poor?

But don’t be too surprised if by the end of the show you’ll be more confused than ever. Should be a bit of fun, especially if Vinny sets it up so that they all bounce off one another. No doubt though, Vinny will still have that surly snarl on his lips as he makes sheeps’ eyes to Marie-Louise …

Jesus H. Christ! What are McGuirk and MLOD doing on that programme? Did they buy lottery tickets once or something?

Surely the show is going have some coverage of the latest Irish political dynasty to emerge from Meath-East?

Is it true you have much of a chance picking 1 to 8 then any other number?

I'd play the raffle though. Should really play the local lotto's as well, a few euro for an actual chance to win something.
