You know you can't type, change nappies, drink beer, watch TV and feed the dog at the same time, don't you?

    Obviously not . . .
Abortion is an act of violence. Violence demeans humanity, particularly violence against women and children.

How far we've come. Really. Fair play to all sides to come so far.

Edit: I don't remember that footage of the two soldiers who got caught up in the funeral. Fair play to that priest.

The truth of an idea is not a stagnant property inherent in it. Truth happens to an idea. It becomes true, is made true by events.

It shows how bad things could become again if the dissidents are not stopped.

Who the ****************************** wants to go back to bloodshed like that?

The image of Fr Reid over David Howes body must be one of the most powerful of any conflict anywhere. The fact that the attack in Milltown and the Corporal Killings took place while tv cameras were present, along with that image, brought the horror of it all into sitting rooms and think made them almost more...real, and certainly more publicised, than so many other atrocities where the footage just showed areas cordoned off and post facto accounts.

We will never go back to those dark times.

What we need now is a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to help put these painful times fully to rest....
