Default Give Householders Guns as Gardai can't keep modern thugs at bay!

Another harrowing tale of a Garda's Partner attacked in their own Home with a knife held to their throat while Children slept in their beds.

The Attack comes just weeks after a violent asault on another Garda's spouse in her own home which was a second raid on her home in weeks.

It is obvious that armed or unarmed Gardai cannot secure the safety of individuals in their own homes. Even if we had twice as many Gardai it would not be possible.

It is time to allow people the means to defend themselves against attackers in the next step after allowing people the right to defend themselves as the right without the means is of little benefit on it's own.

Criminals who break into people's homes should have to face the prospect that the home and its occupants will be defended with suitable firearms.

Policing can only be a reactive response to attacks on homes and their occupants.

A revolver makes a much better home defence weapon!

Besides pumps are only allowed to hold 2 in the bottom and one in the chamber!

The latest attack on a Garda's family took place in Charlestown as opposed to the double attack in Castlebar!

Locks are easily breached with bump keys in as little as 1 second!

Bump keys can lead to home break-ins

Throw on a couple of chains. Get a big horse of a dog, with teeth like Ronaldinho.
