"Childless" women, on average, earn more than men. Is there a need for remedial action by Govt.?!
Women in country's workforce paid 17pc more than men
It seems that one of the most enduring old chestnuts of the feminists, that women in the workplace are unfairly discriminated against in terms of pay, doesn't stand up to scrutiny. That should come as no surprise to those who've looked at the figures (regarding pay for men and women) in the US over the last ten years or so, but it is worth noting how much more women, on average, earn in the years before they start having kids. Also interesting is the reaction to the figures from the Policy Officer in the NWC!
