Default Padraic Nally on RTE2 now

Seems like a normal sort in a sh1tty situation.

Obviously you can't condone "killing" but he seems a normal sort of person stuck living in fear. I recognise the wrong but I don't blame him for it.

    Bad situation.

Many on this site have little or no experience of living in an isolated rural area, I can tell you that your survival instincts will always be higher when there are no close neighbours, Gardai, streetlights, or help nearby and scumbags with dozens of convictions come calling !

It is pointless talking about aspirational laws that release dangerous criminals onto the law abiding citizens.

It's not just rural. Try living in Finglas at Christmas when they're out on temp release and all the cops go on the p1ss.

    Not good.

In my experience Keyboard warriors dont know what rural ireland is, or else they think castlebar is as rural as it gets. Once on boards.ie somebody wrote that old farmers should just get a taxi to where ever they need to go and that post got 100 thanks.

I've a lot of sympathy for Nally. The man was being terrorised. He didn't trespass on another's property.
