Default Another popular GOPer embroiled in sex scandal.

The religious right sure seems to have a hard time practicing what they preach. This from the party advocating forced trans-vaginal ultrasounds.

And she's trying to cover it up as well. Classy.

Haley categorically denied Marchant’s claim. In fact she said Marchant was unable to prove the two of them were ever alone together on the Salt Lake City trip.

“We’ve had representatives go on the record that said we were in a group setting all the time,” Haley told former Columbia, S.C. radio host Keven Cohen at the time.

Other sources who went on the Salt Lake City trip have disputed Haley’s claim, however.

“They left the W lounge together,” one of these sources confirmed to FITS, referring to a dance club located three blocks away from the Marriott hotel where the South Carolina delegation was staying.

Another source also confirmed seeing Haley and Marchant on the corner of Broadway and Southwest Temple streets in downtown Salt Lake City at around 2:25 a.m. as the pair walked back to their hotel room.

    Hypocritical ******************************ing b*tch:

HALEY: Women don’t care about contraception, they care about jobs and the economy and raising their families and all those other things–
BEHAR: Well, they care about contraception too.
HALEY: But, that’s not the only thing they care about. The media wants to talk about contraception.
BEHAR: But when someone like Rick Santorum says he’s going to take it away, we care. [Applause]
HALEY: Well, while we care about contraception, let’s be care. All we’re saying is we don’t want government to mandate when we have to have it or when we don’t.

These are only allegations. She is not accused of breaking the law.

Unlike Dem Senator Menendez by the Daily Caller blog.

It doesn't matter if she broke the law, when she's from the party of "moral majority".

You can't spend your whole life telling people how to behave while at the same time sleeping with a married man and cheating on your husband.

    In addition to that:

On June 3, 2010, Larry Marchant, a consultant for Andre Bauer's gubernatorial campaign, made a statement alleging that he and Haley had a one-time sexual encounter

In a June 2010 interview, Haley said that if she were elected governor and the claims were later validated, she would resign the office

So not a crook, just immoral and a hypocrite.

It happens. But the Irish media are far more interested in what is going on somewhere else. And the people are conditioned likewise.

If an Irish politician was the topic of this thread, the thread would be shut down, due to Irish defamation law and the fear it engenders.

But we all feel safe discussing sex scandals in other countries in depth.
Coveney's ambition is the be Ireland's next EU Commissar and Ireland will pay a price as he builds his CV to position himself sufficiently loyal to the nEU empire.

    No.

You might make promises you can't keep to get elected; as long as you try to keep them people assume you're basically being honest.

That's radically different from cheating on your husband, with a married man, repeatedly, lying about doing it, and doing this while endlessly preaching that people that have abortions are immoral sinners.

And hey, nice job btw., trying to justify her immorality by equating it to others immorality; two wrongs make a right eh?

Or is that only when it's a politician you support?
