Default Shankill Bomber Arrested Over IRA '' Punishment'' Shooting

Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson is seeking talks with the chief constable to discuss the arrest of a former
IRA bomber being questioned about a so-called punishment shooting in Belfast.

Sean Kelly, 39, once jailed for life for an attack which left 10 people dead, was arrested at his home in the republican Ardoyne area close to where an 18-year-old was wounded three times in the leg.

Good to see SF/IRA getting to grips with community policing, makes one wonder how all those whinging about 'undemocratic' actions view these 'democratics'...

(cue ah but, no but, ah but, that's different replies or antisocial behavior (or failing to pay your drug tax) in a democratic society deserves to be punished by street shootings)

How long will it be until Kelly is unconditionally released?

Oh probably as long as it takes inflection to phone his handlers...

Coincidentally we were chatting about Peter Robinson's hypocrisy and we only had to wait a matter of hours for more evidence of his appalling trait.

Firstly the media reported this attack to be a paramilitary-style attack. However, a police spokesman said that following inquiries, it is no longer being treated as such, but rather as a shooting. Despite this The Punt has pointed his finger firmly at SF.

"The family of the man who has been shot has indicated the involvement of those associated with Sinn Fein in this attack," Peter Robinson said.

"This connection raises potentially grave consequences for the (peace) process and we will want to meet with the Chief Constable to establish the background of this case and how the police are able to conclude that it is not paramilitary linked. We will be monitoring very closely the facts of this case as they arise and the Sinn Fein response to them."

Was this same logic applied to the TUV in the Davy Tweed paedophile case?

Stinks to high heaven. On a side note, why the ****************************** is he claiming (even if Kelly was involved) this shooting has 'grave consequences for the peace process'? ffs

Did the attempted murder of a policewoman by flag protesters warrant such overly dramatic, hypothetical and pathetic scare mongering language? No.

Imagine in 5 years time Robbo and Garfunkel travelling the world explaining that the great Irish model of peace collapsed because some smicker from Ardoyne got shot in the legs for generally acting a walt but even though the 'RA were ruled out by the cops, Kelly's gaff was directly opposite where the kid was found, therefore the house of cards had to fall. Place is pathetic. Really.

Police say it isn't the 'RA, the ma hasn't specified who she thinks it was in name.
