Furore as Iran ambassador is caught on video 'high-fiving' female German MP - Telegraph
The female leader of the Germany Green Party and Iran's ambassador to Berlin were left scrambling for explanations.
The Iranian was denying that he shook hands will a female (something which is presumably not to be approved under Iran's absrud legal code).
Meanwhile the Green's now are stumbling to explain how a leading member of their party high fived a representative of a mysogistic, chauvinistic backward regime.
Like the Irish Greens, does it seem as if the German Greens have a tendency towards hypocrisy, and an obsession with superficiality ?
This is even more embarrassing for a German politician, given the absurdities that come from the leadership in the regime in Tehran. In particular there is the Iranian leader has shown himself to be a Shoah denier on numerous occassions. The same Iranian leader is also rumoured to be one quarter Jewish, but has an obsession with Jews. Purely by co-incidence, this does sound familiar. Fascinating, considering that some of the Greens claim that the movement was born out an obsession with the 1930s, and they themselves also have dictatorial tendencies. Other left wing groups that emerged in the 1960s in Germany also seem to have a dysfuntional obsession with Fascism - outwardly opposing it, yet often mimicking the same violent and dictatorial tendencies in it.
How will the German Greens manage PR stunts to get out of this ?
