Default Has TV3 clamped down on merry interviews?

I thought this press article would have provoked some debate on this site but I can't find any mention of it herein:

Pat Rabbitte 'humiliated' by TV3 snub - Independent.ie
"COMMUNICATIONS Minister Pat Rabbitte suffered a "humiliating" experience at the hands of TV3 after being refused permission to go on the Vincent Browne Show"

Its not the snub itself that's controversial but the inference that the bunny was flutered:
"It is understood that Mr Rabbitte had been in high spirits before the incident – with one Labour TD noting that he was grinning "like a Cheshire cat".

    Champagne Socialist 2011 vintage?

It is a pity that our wannabe stalinist Minister did not on go on. It would have been mildly interesting to see if he was less arrogant and obnoxious than normal. Somehow I doubt it.

And yet Vinny can't understand why others like Adams and Kenny won't appear on his show. You can be a bollocks all you want, but don't be surprised then when people treat you like one.
You'll never go broke appealing to the lowest common denominator.

Slightly off the topic of this thread, but, Mark Wahlberg was on Graham Norton last night and he was twisted.

Back on topic, the reason given for Bunnys no-show on Vinny B was a fu8k up by the Government Information Service. Apparently TV3 and GIS have a deal. If a Government rep is due on the Vinny B show, they must not have been on an RTE show that same evening. Daft, I know, but thats what Vinny said. Thats the reason. Not because he was in high spirits.
Stand there in silence, look up to the sky and remember how brave they were.

In fairness to the Plump Bunny, he looked stone cold sober on Primetime,

So unless he had a few drinks in the car on the way to Ballymount I doubt he was rabbit stewed

Ireland's debt and shirt collars and suits on Gilmore and Rabitte are the only things growing in this country.

I can't stand VB, but the policy of not taking people just on PT seems sensible to me.
