Thread: Magdalene Laundries Report Due

    Default Magdalene Laundries Report Due

Senator Martin McAleese is about to release the report that will reveal one of the darkest periods of modern history in Ireland on February 5 2013. The Magdalene Laundries report describes forced labor and wrongs committed against the women in Magdalene Laundries perpetrated by the church and the state. The chairman was charged to reveal the full scale of Magdalene Laundries activities, but it has already transpired that some of the key files on the Magdalene laundries have gone missing.

The Catholic Church will throw anything to the wolves on this except money. Their grasp on filthy lucre is non-negotiable.

PS Sounds like McAleese has done a snow job on it.

And that's why they need to be made to suffer financially. It's the only thing that hurts.

Excellent (and unusual!) how this report is coming out so quickly!

When was Martin McAleese set on course?

The middle of last year, wasn't it?

The Catholic Church is the biggest land owner in the country, their land assets should be re-possessed to cover the compensation, if they are not willing to cough up the cash.
