Default Our country is totally bankrupt: French employment minister

Ooh, la la! This is not the sort of talk Monsieur Hollande wants to hear from his cabinet. At this point in time, everyone should be on message, singing from the same hymn sheet. But not Michel Sapin.

In a radio interview where he was trying to explain the government's policies of spending cuts and more taxation, he declared that France was "totally bankrupt". If he meant it as a shock to the listeners, it has backfired badly.

Anyway, rightly or wrongly, rich French people are voting with their money. Recent figures from the French Central Bank have confirmed that flight of capital from La Belle France is well and truly under way.

Upon hearing that news approximately 65.5 million people shrugged nonchalantly!

You mean to say their grandfathers and fathers died in the mincing machine called Verdun and the Somme for their country...and these lousy scumbags are robbing that same country of badly needed taxes...

Time to shoot some of these fukkers and educate them as to rights and responsibilities in a republic

The rich are leaving. The Swiss and the British are having a great laugh. The future is bleak for France

Most of France's problems lie with the fact that it has become very uncompetitve in recent years. The French working week is 35 hours for everyone. That is crazy imo.

They're also saying 'au revoir' and taking their money with them.
