An idea that has sat with me for a while now, is on issue of labour markets and the freedom to choose economies that would best suit our skillset and/or lifestyle.
If capital can freely flow between countries but workers cannot well then surely this is not fair with respect to how ‘free market capitalism’ is supposed to be.
Then of course there is the issue of social policy that may discriminate against some people and overly favour another group.
In this instance should entrepreneurs be granted license to charter their own state boundaries and territory, provided of course they abide by international code for human rights. In essence this would mean private dictatorship, thousands of them however would mean the markets decide their feasibility and success.
It would also promote innovation among countries and policy makers, not to mention book keeping efficiency.
