Default Anglo Irish Bank Probe To Be Delayed By Another Year

here we go again ODCE is going to prolong the Anglo investigation for another year until January 17 2014.

and we are still looking at five issues being investigated

    * unlawfully helping to back investors
    * warehousing of loans to Anglo directors by INBS
    * back to back deposit arrangements between Anglo and IL&P
    * loans to a former Anglo director
    * false financial reporting

ODCE was actually aiming for another 3 year extension.

At least the judge is being tough on them. Note some court appearances to set the ball rolling next week.

Mr Justice Peter Kelly today said he would extend the orders only for one year to January 17 2014 as he was anxious a three yar extension would not give rise to any reduction in the "intensity" of the probe.

He was not suggesting such a reduction in intensity would happen, he stressed.
So not "Delayed" so much as extended. In fact in the 3 articles on this, no one's used the word "Delay" except you. Because it's not delayed. Because you're spouting bollox.

The judge noted investigations had concluded into two of five issues being investigated. If the investigations had concluded into all five issues and decisions had been taken whether to prosecute or not regarding all five, he would have granted the three year extension as a lengthy trial process would be anticipated, he said.
So we're looking at 3 issues being investigated as 2 have concluded and arrests have followed. Did you even bother reading the article?

    nah its a delay.
and there will be another delay after this one two.
this is because the longer this charade goes on , the better for the seanie etc.

as for 'arrests' - seanie does a few hours in the cop shop and then is let go.
how many times now? 3 or 4?
    its all a panto.
even tho u feign indignation quiet well - you know its panto too.

even if it seanies case gets to court in the next couple of years - we still have a lenthy trial ( more panto ).
at the end of this the judge will take into account all that seanie has been through over the previous decade.
this will mean x amount of seperate sentences - all running concurrently.
by the time deductions are done seanie will see maybe a year in the jail - if that.
not bad seanie , not bad.
this is why there is a delay.

there is no justice in ireland - at that does affect you ,even though u think it doesnt.

So we're looking at 3 issues being investigated as 2 have concluded and arrests have followed. Did you even bother reading the article?

They're waiting for the public anger to subside.
Then it'll just be a footnote in Irish history.

And the parties involved will of course be too old to face charges.

Some clown like John Waters will be rolled out to tell us we as a society would be better off forgiving these men as they are all old and sure it wouldn't help to pay of our debts if we did send them to jail.

I think that a clown already has been suggesting this.....a big barrister with a resounding donkey laff....
Coveney's ambition is the be Ireland's next EU Commissar and Ireland will pay a price as he builds his CV to position himself sufficiently loyal to the nEU empire.
