Default Farage: Let Them Eat Cake...

He calls today for Ireland among other European countries to claim back its right to democracy and self-government.

This comes at a time when today Irish Central Bank Governor Honohan declared that in relation to getting a deal done on debt that:

There is considerable goodwill from all interlocutors in this process. Nevertheless, it has not been easy to find a generally acceptable solution.

What is the expectation for Ireland to have a deal by end of March as Kenny has stated a few times in the past weeks since Ireland took on the EU Presidency?

If no deal is done, what then?

Is Farage correct in his claim that some member countries are seriously considering life outside or after the EU?

If no deal is done and the deficit continues to loom large, what is the prospect for the TROIKA leaving Ireland as originally planned? Or does the potential for Bailout II stand an even greater chance of happening and becoming the reality for Ireland until 2016/17? Is Ireland to become a governed state of austerity for the best part of a decade led by principal Eurocrat decision makers?

Deputy Mathews did assert that there was potentially another €60bn that would be required in the Irish banking system – that’s on top of the €64bn direct bail-out of the banks and the €5.6bn of state-aid paid by NAMA to the banks for the acquisition of loans.

Pretty sickening to hear a Little Englander like Farage, leader of a party which includes a vast number of people who are racist and virulently anti-Irish, go on as if he's a friend of the poor Oirish Paddies.

He was married to an Irish girl, but don't let that get in the way of your prejudice.

Does he ever mention specifics . . . or propose anything for that matter?

It just seems to be ranting and self promotion.
