    Default RTE and Northern Ireland

Listening at times to RTE news it is hard to know what country we live in. There are times that out of four or five stories two or three can be about a road traffic accident in NI, an assault that took place somewhere else up there etc. Very sad and upsetting for those concerned but really such news about another country is taking this Irish PC thing a bit too far. The Germans don't report such stories about the Dutch and similar to the French and Belgium. Even UTV and BBC NI don't report similar stories about the republic.

What is it with this forum and the seemingly endless supply of teenage Cruiserologist nutters?

I bet that you are the type of clown who thinks that Derry V Cavan is an International game. Go Home, your tiny village with its in-bred population are missing its idiot.

If you were in a car accident just south of jonesboro would you refuse treatment in Newry Hospital?
NO votes for Labour, NO transfers either. You sold the people down the river, payback time!

No the Germans don't report much about Holland. They primarily report about their country, which was also divided until 1989. If rte do start reporting trivial matters from a foreign country do let us know. I only hear Irish news on there.

Do you know that many Licence payers lives are greatly affected by what might or might not happen in the north.

Road traffic accidents can be a particular worry for many.
