Default Netherlands tackles state subsidy for religious broadcasts.

The Richard Dawkins website has this piece of good news: the Netherlands is ending the state subsidy for various religious and philosophical groups to create programmes. I believe that this shows a balanced solution to the issue of religious and philosophical groups access to broadcasting. It also addresses the economic realities of our current situation and will mean increased revenue for broadcasters if such groups have to pay. The question is: when do pie posters believe we will see this in Ireland?

Brilliant. Perfect timing too for the rebirth of the Angelus thread while ago!!!

    Edit: On reflection, why philosophical?
    Boycott the "Irish" Sun rag.
