Ireland to Great Britain.
This PIN is being published for the sole purpose of seeking responses to a market sounding process with the purpose of exploring the possibility of collaborating with Market Participants
, being any entities that:
(1) have made substantial progress in securing an operational grid connection to Great Britain from Ireland prior to the year 2020; or

(3) have significant demonstrable capabilities in the provision of development and management services necessary for a renewable energy direct export project of the scale and complexity described in section 2.4 of the
(4) have significant demonstrable capabilities in the supply chain for the major components and major infrastructure necessary for a renewable energy direct export project of the scale and complexity described in section 2.4 of the PIM.
The purpose of the PIN is to seek views from Market Participants on the project itself and the form which any collaboration between Bord na Móna and Market Participants would take as well as views on the advantages and viability of such an arrangement.
This is not a call for competition. Bord na Mona has not made a decision regarding whether it will undertake an energy export project, and it makes no undertaking whatsoever that it will undertake, or take part in, any project to export renewable energy to Great Britain.
