Default The Budget "A disater for us" (Labour)

If this is what is being said is true, then self preservation, or the ability to think of ones self is alive and well in the Labour party.

I can tell you for certain, that Labour PA's and secretaries are privately inquiring in Leinster house about redundancy entitlements. If that's the worry, then watch this space.

But will the Stickie troughers of Labour hang on for the pensions with the Labour backbenchers walking? Is there any future for Labour?

It's the Labour Party. You want to talk about The Workers' Party, you call them "stickies", although most people have no idea what a "stickie" is! So stop the "Divide and Rule" nonsense and let's all try and work together to get the Germans and French off our backs, the corrupt from all parties in jail, and the thieves and gamblers who destroyed our country stripped of "our" assets and jailed also.

Then let's bring democracy, Irish democracy, back to our country.

Junior party in the coalition, much smaller than FG, far fewer TDs yet they will feel the brunt of voters anger next time round. Bringing Labour on board was a bit of a master stroke by FG wouldn't you think.

And yes they already seem to be in self preservation mode.

One would think that Labour being used as a mud guard by a bigger party had never happened before.

Labour TD,s will show what they are made of, when they have to walk the plank. The majority will stay stumb and vote with the Goverment. Pretending that they have concern for the people, but their concern for thenselves will win out on the day. Whats new........

Heh. They'll have to get in line behind the TDs then.

Utter claptrap about this being a Disaster for labour.

    Croke park is untouched.

    Job done.

Constituency protected. Especially if they get in "X" legislation and Gay marriage.

Well the problem with that is that they don't work and they aren't workers. They are a bunch of political tourists that banjax any party they infiltrate. Now it is Labour's turn to have the lifeblood leeched out while it crumples into dust at the next election.
