Labour backbenchers are revolting, or are they? They should be. What happened to Labour's pre-election promises to protect child benefit and hit the wealthy? How will the party fair in the next GE and just how much damage has Budget 2013 done to the Labour party?

Colm Keaveney, Chairman of the Labour Party, has called on the Government to row back on the €10 to €20 cut per child which has been met with widespread outrage by Labour Party backbenchers, opposition parties and child welfare groups. Tánaiste and Labour leader, Eamon Gilmore, Tánaiste and Labour leader, has had to try and calm backbencher nerves over concerns that the wealthy weren't hit hard enough in Budget 2013.

Former Labour Junior Minister, Roisín Shortall - Now an Independent TD - believes Budget 2013 will be very damaging for the Labour Party. “I suspect a lot of pressure will be piled on in coming days to try and reverse some of the more awful aspects of the Budget.”

A good to great #VINB is on the cards for tonight. Let’s see the panel take Labour to pieces, bit by bit.

Labour were damaged the moment they went into a coalition with either of our right-wing parties. They damn well knew the history of previous main party mudflaps like the Greens and the PDs but the desire for power and enormous pensions was too much for them.

Did Budget 2013 damage Labour? The damage was already done - the Budget is merely the nail in their coffin.

    What a stupid debate.

Both parties are damaged by that budget.

'Tis a pity Joan won't go on the show any more. We need more of this:

    Oh! Dem were the days.
