Default Acieeeed - culture and community and house music, 87-93

In a way that seems very hard to understand now, there was a time when music was innovative and new and fresh. Now that happened during the rock and roll days of course, or when electronic music started to become popular around the disco years, or during the punk era, but not sure they had the same cheeky/fun irreverence of the house and techno culture, or particularly on these islands, acid and rave. It wasn't just a beat or a type of music, like punk, it was a culture, a look, a movement. So if anyone has any good clips of the era, stick them up here.

Culture is probably taking it too far, genre would be a more accurate description.

House and Techno music came before E. E made them popular in europe, but the music came from a different culture. black african american culture (chicago and detroit) to be exact. Universal Techno (1996) - YouTube
