Default Unionist Outreach: Another attack on Orange hall

Or is this part of the fight against Catholic oppression in Glenavy? Anyone keeping track on how many attacks there's been against Orange Halls in the last year?

There has been an attempt to set fire to an Orange Hall in County Antrim.

It happened early on Wednesday morning when tiles were removed from the roof of the Fourscore Orange Hall, near Glenavy, and a flammable liquid poured into the building.

Minor damage was caused to the property, which has been destroyed in two previous arson attacks.

Republican? Would that be your own spin on it?

As much as this shouldn't happen, Republicans have nothing to do with it.

The OO will have to stop damaging their own halls. Money is flowing freely from Europe and the Rep and what better way to get funding.

Seriously, why would any one else damage OO halls when everyone knows "arson" attacks and "paint dobbing" will get money to them much quicker?

Nobody is ever caught and no-one is ever seen when these attacks happen. Something sinister is at play methinks.

Perhaps they can get extra help from the fire brigade to fix it up?

For unionism this is as good as it gets, for nationalism this is the worse it can be.

Willie Frazer has a special section entitled "Attacks by Catholic Extremists".
The last entry: Thursday, 15 July 2010 Fourth night of Catholic riots in Belfast.
Needless to say there is no mention of the three nights of "protestant" riots in September which injured over sixty PSNI officers.

Good points there purple, grounds for a Police investigation IMO.
