Default G-8 Summit to be held in Fermanagh

Reports say the 2013 G-8 summit will be held in Fermanagh at the Lough Erne golf resort. The is great news for the economies of both Fermanagh and Donegal. Lets hope all goes well.

They'll fly in on helicopter and back out on the same day.
The owner of the golf club will do well, but "the economy of Fermanagh and Donegal???" I fail to see how they'll benefit. It's not like we'll all be going there to welcome them, stopping off for Ice Cream on the way in Bundoran.

Are you prepared to give up your freedom of movement for a few days, and live under virtual Martial Law, so they can get their photo op.
By the way, I can't see this going ahead. It'll be a security nightmare.
It'll be a red rag to Republican groups

Highly unlikely to be picked, but it would be hard to see the economy of the area involved not benefit.
These summits are covered by over one thousand journalists, not to mention the delegates and security apparatus
    Traveling with the nations involved.

The world's most powerful leaders in deepest, darkest Fermanagh - what could possibly go wrong?

Will Peter and Marty get an invite for a quick grip and grin with the big boys - and Angela?

And more importantly, will Enda get an invite with Ireland holding the EU presidency for the first half of the year?

If he does, can someone please make sure he doesn't disgrace us all - like the last time we got an invite to this gig.
