Default Can somebody teach Willie O’Dea how to use email ?

It seems Willie O'Dea is getting into hot water this morning over his emails.

His email correspondents don't seem too happy on the confidentiality front.

He is getting flack for his perceived Incompetence in email sending. People don't seem too impressed at the monster cc emails.

RT @claireshares: Wow. Willie O'Dea, just emailed me a response and cc'd some 200+ other people That's some kind of data protection breach surely?

Seemingly, rather than reply individually he is just doing one big group mail by cc.

Perhaps one of the interns could take this FF frontbencher aside and tell him about the .bcc facility.

Is he even doing this himself, though?
After all, tomorrow is another day.

You mean like during the last election when he tweeted that he had just finished canvassing Corbally but the tweet location showed Dublin.

He is getting plenty of flak over this

@Gilleeece: Got group reply to email I sent to Willie O'Dea in relation to Legislation on X (over 200 names).Great to see response to disingenuous reply

@cobyrne: Learn to use the BCC field Willie O'Dea. Your mass email just shared a lot people's private email address. Disaster.

@aoifelily: Willie O'Dea shares constituents email addresses with everyone who contacted him after nwci email campaign. Doh!

He even has his own e-mail on the cc line? It is funny though. E-mailing the entire Fianna Fail organisation like that.

And Wille O'Dea has more reason than most to fear twitter after the famous Dan Boyle tweet that finished him off politically

Can we not take those other 218 addresses as lies?...

Willie has form for things turning out to be porkies once he's written them down.

God almighty. That's a hanging offence. Even me, well renowned as computer illiterate never did that back in the day. Some secretary, sorry, clerical assistant is in for a bolliking.
