Default A.J Spring calls for legal action on bankers pay.

Kerry North-West Limerick Labour T.D has called for legal action on the issue of bankers pay, Deputy Spring has said that he has written to Finance Minister Michael Noonan outlining a number of possible legal routes he could take. Deputy Spring also said that Minister Noonan should seek the resignation of Bank of Ireland Chief Richie Boucher after his performance before a Dail committee recently.

Its good to see someone in Labour speaking out against the obscene carry on in the Banks, is this a sign of things to come? Will more discontent be on the way from the Labour back benches in the next few weeks running up to the Budget?

His father was a director at AIB through out the property bubble. I wouldn't take young Arthur or anyone in the Labour Party too seriously. They all have their snouts in the trough.

    Edit
*actually Dick Spring is his uncle but it's still the same dynasty that's been going on for 3 generations

Has he written to Uncle Dick? He might get a quicker response if he did.

You must be thinking of his Uncle Dick who only became a Director after the whole thing blew up. His dad is a doctor.

And the aptly named Dick was also on the board of Eircom after the privatisation. He did not even own one share but he was in their prospectus (pretending to) read the FT.

Is there something wrong with Kerry people that they foist Healy Raes/Springs on a bewildered nation?

Comical! were would this individual be if the Celtic tiger had not ended? more than likely a banking director. This type of individual is what is wrong with Ireland.

Labour will be gone after the next General Election just like the PDs and the Greens before them.

Not that that invalidates his criticism of bankers pensions mind you.
