Thread: Wallace pondering his future

    Default Wallace pondering his future

This morning's local papers in Co Wexford report Mick Wallace as pondering whether he is "mad enough to run again". This follows a disastrous resonse to his recent meeting in Enniscorthy targetting the business community that succeded in attracting only a handful of attendance to the hotel including the hotel owner.

Clearly Deputy Wallace is refelcting on his experiences and has come to the view that the strength of support he enjoyed in 2011 may not be there in any future election in Wexford.

    That sounds sensible.

That way he can concentrate on paying his tax debts.

He should have been kicked out of the Dáil as soon as it became known that he was a tax cheat.

Failing that, he should resign immediately and never seek elected office again.

Mick Wallace is not a member of the ULA, nor has he ever been a member of the ULA.

I doubt that the people of Wexford would be mad enough to elect worzel.

That is much more of an influencing factor.
Coveney's ambition is the be Ireland's next EU Commissar and Ireland will pay a price as he builds his CV to position himself sufficiently loyal to the nEU empire.

The reference to Wallace wondering if he is 'mad enough to run again' is dreadful - as if some wrong has been done to him by an undeserving public. Only in Ireland can people cheat on their taxes and claim martydom when they're exposed.
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it infamy!

Good ol' Wallace. Always the victim, never anyone else.

Seems to be a trait among the 'great and the good' in this dump... they're all victims including Sean Quinn... FFS

The only members of 'establishment' Ireland I can think of who fell on their sword with a smidgen of dignity were Bernard McNamara and Trevor Sargent - both of whom as far as I can remember, took it on the chin.

    I may be wrong though...

There may be others... but the majority of them seem to be a bunch of arrogant, whingeing, self pitying pussies...

As for Wallace... he should have been booted out of office months ago...
