Default Decision Day. US Presidential election: Obama vs Romney

The big day is here, it seems appropriate to have a new thread and poll to follow the action.

The last set of polls are in. If swing states declare the way RCP poll averages say they will, then Obama has it by 68.

Without declaring Swing States, Obama's up by 10.

The numbers are certainly with Obama, although Romney's progress over the last 2 months seems to have surprised the Democrats, with the Republican comfortably up in Florida.

For my money I can't see how Romney does it. Even if he carries Virginia and Colorado (Reversing an Obama lead in the polls), he still loses. He's got to win Ohio, and those other states to do it. But he's 3 down in the collected polls, he's never polled ahead in the State, it'll take a lot to carry it off.

    How I think it'll end:

What about everyone else, do people think Romney can overcome the math? What do you think the spread will be?

BBC are doing their normal fantastic job of liveblogging the entire thing:

I am not betting type but I have Obama by 30 EC.

Hopefully the yanks will recognise the lack of progress that Romney represent.

Gosh we never do that. Can't think of a time we've done a poll which showed people's votes.

Obama's done in Ohio, Romney's doing one last jaunt to New Hampshire then Ohio and Penn. Can't fault that logic, those are the states to hit up.
