Default Orange Order to Build Museums to Promote OO

The European Union is to spend €4,5 million to build two museums in the North. These museums are to promote better understanding and tolerance of this bigoted organisation.

The Orange Order has announced plans to build two museums in Northern Ireland at a cost of £3.6 million (€4.5m).

The aim of the project is to promote better understanding and increased tolerance of its organisation.

Funding for the museums is coming from the EU's Peace III Programme and it will be spent on the projects in Belfast and Armagh.

More like a PR stunt to make a collection of hardliners look all nice and fluffy.

Will they take customers from Tayto Park and Disneyland ?

For unionism this is as good as it gets, for nationalism this is the worse it can be.

Actually I made a mistake in the OP. The OO is not funding this the EU is.

It seems funding for this is also coming from the Republic of Ireland.

Match-funding for the project has been provided by the Department for Social Development in Northern Ireland and the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, in the Republic of Ireland.
