Default Royal Ballet and LSO to perform in Derry 2013

Fantastic line up for Derry 2013.

BBC News - UK City of Culture: Events announced for Derry celebration

I was at the Royal Ballet last week in Covent Garden - to watch Swan Lake - and it was really beautiful to watch.

The people of Derry will have a great cultural year in 2013.

Comment: this programme vindicates the decision to go for City of Culture status.

Been there done that, dog. Wasn't very impressed by anti-catholicism being coat-trailed through a catholic majority City, but as usual your "culture" of hate is accommodated. , but yes, I'll be there for a few events too, dog.

well, I'll give you a wave , as long as i'm not carrying the banner or flag at that point in which case I'll nod my head and smile.
I also see part of the military tatoo will be performed in the Ebrington barracks.

No need to nod, just do the usual nazi salute

Tensions remain high this evening after an Orange Order 12th of July march through Derry city centre......

As the bandsmen passed Austins many of their supporters cheered, some shouted sectarian insults and two men made Nazi salutes across the street to nationalists, and a few bemused shoppers, who had gathered to observe the march.

At one stage an intoxicated supporter ran across the road and goaded nationalists. He was quickly escorted back to his companions by a police officer.

The leader of a loyalist band has been fined 750 for spitting at nationalist protestors during Orange Order parade in Londonderry city centre .

I condemn that type of behaviour ( even though i doubt it was unprovoked).
