Default SF & ULA walk out of Dail in protest

Just reported on Newstalk. In protest at the €700 million payoff to Anglo bondholders. SF had put down a motion to prevent the payment being made, and asked Kenny to name the bondholders. Needless to say, Kenny refused both.

Its becoming very clear what parties and people are interested in whats best for Ireland and the people of Ireland.

    Is this populist?

is this how oppostion should behave?

Or is this a true indication of solidarity with the taxpayers?

That should double the average IQ of the membership of the Dail....
Coveney's ambition is the be Ireland's next EU Commissar and Ireland will pay a price as he builds his CV to position himself sufficiently loyal to the nEU empire.

Kenny also refused to name the bondholders.

That wouldn't say much for the Dail considering Sinn Fein were the only effective opposition to the FF/Groin government in the last Dail. I think this walkout was to highlight the refusal in the Dail to debate the bond payment of 700million euro to large men with eastern european accents behind nominee accounts in tax havens (allegedly).

I remember the days when bondholders were little grannies saving up for budgie feed. Or at least thats what Sir Dead Lenihan told everyone and he's dead so what he said must be true (also alllegedly).

I think certain senior Irish politicians are afraid to burn the bondholders because they know the bondholders aren't little old grannies.

Actually, they were right to do what they did.

No doubt the pro-Empire parties will lecture them on such measures are a PR stunt that offends our "EU partners".....

Good for them. Unfortunately, the FG/Labour EU puppets won't take a blind bit of notice.
If you continue to elect idiots in elections, don't be surprised when the result is an idiotic government.
