Default Will we ever have an FF-FG grand coalition in this country?

Based on the results of the last election where both parties increased their stranglehold on the Dail it seems unlikely in the near future, but do you reckon it will ever happen?

It works pretty well in Germany, even where the SPD & CDU are a lot more different than FG and FF.

It seems mad they they dont work together considering they represent the vast majority of the voters.

The problem with FG and FF is that they are too similar.

By the way, any "grand coalition" between FG and FF will be substantially smaller in terms of Dáil support than the current petit coalition.

They are equally sleazy greedy and power-hungry so it could happen. On the other hand FG unlike FF have a big unreal minority. I think though in Coalition abortion law would be unchanged. Also FG are posher than FF.
    Fair and Balanced
