Default Munster IRA Terrorist Ring Destroyed, As Leader Sent Down

Five men have been convicted by the Special Criminal Court in Dublin of membership of the Real IRA.

Three of the men, John Murphy (aged 25), (Old Mallow Road), Gerard Varian (aged 46), (Bride Valley Park, in Fairhill), and Aidan O'Driscoll (aged 25) (Glenheights Park, in Ballyvolane) are from Cork.

The other two men, Ciaran O'Dwyer (aged 50), (Castletroy View) and Ultan Larkin (aged 34), (Farranshone), are from Limerick.

O'Dwyer is reportedly the head of the Real IRA in Munster and Larkin is said to be his second in command.

All five had denied the charges. They have now been remanded in custody for sentencing at a later date.

Lets hope they all get life.

Lord Nelson, why have you posted this in the Sinn Fein forum, these people have been convicted of membership of the RIRA, who have no links to Sinn Fein.

They have been convicted of membership of the "Republican Movement," can anyone from Sinn Féin confirm or deny if these convicted criminals are members of that party?

Well in the context of some of your contributions to this forum, you would be well suited for a job at either of those papers, they never let the little detail of the truth bother them either, in their rantings.

Well hopefully you'll be able to keep your secret identity well hidden when you reach the giddy heights of Abbey Street, for fear that the IRA will kill your family/friends/goldfish in retaliation for your devastating rhetorical campaign against them.

    This, we pray, oh Lord.

Well they are not members of the Republican Movement that consists of the IRA and Sinn Fein, etc. The political group with the closest links to the RIRA is the 32CSM, so ask them if your interested. Again I ask you why have posted this thread in the Sinn Fein forum.
And If you check they have been convicted of membership of the RIRA, not the Republican Movement, which is a term used when refering to a number of organisations as a whole.

Well then why have they been allowed into the Republican Wing of Portlaoise Prison?
